Setting up a script in the Automation Designer to export a dataset or import a dataset. Then right-click the App to create a Parameter file for a batch file run, however the parameter INI file is blank which will not allow the batch file to run.
Export\Import Dataset does not allow the use of parameter files.
In Automation Designer an action can either have a parmeter file or not; but the exception is on Export\Import Dataset. Even though a parameter file can be created on the App level, but it shows up blank because the Export Dataset action doesn't allow for the use of parameter files.
WORKAROUND:
None for Export Datasets, but other tasks such as Execute Script will allow the use of parameter files.
STATUS:
For Export\Import Dataset to be supported in a future release of Toad for Oracle, it's recommended to add this idea in the Toad Idea Pond:
