Error, "Object does not match target type. Export is cancelled" when performing quick export | Excel Instance
Description
When trying to perform a Quick Export | Excel Instance | Excel Instance from any dataset, even simple [SELECT GETDATE() as Today] the following error occurs:
Object does not match target type. Export is cancelled
Using Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, version 15.0.4797.1003
Cause
Office 365 is not fully supported.
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Use Quick Export | File | Excel File option.
STATUS:
This issue is fixed in Toad for SQL Server 7.0. This version can be downloaded from the downloads section of our website, which you can access by clicking here.
