Lost the Results window that used to be docked with the Editor window. How to get it back or how to reset it to default view?
Reset the Editor file to default settings which will place the Results window back on the Editor window.
1. Close Toad.
2. Browse to the folder:
XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USER>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Data Analysts X.X\Layouts\ - (X.X is Toad version specific).
Vista / 7:
C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad Data Point X.X\Layouts\ - (X.X is Toad version specific).
3. Locate the file ‘Editor.xml’ and rename it to ‘Editor.xml_OLD’.
4. Launch Toad again.
5. Re-test the issue.
