1. Verify that the Server Side objects install was done properly. The wizard has to be run with the "Base SQLNAV Repository" selected and Explain Plan Support selected.
2. Check that your plan table is properly noted in View | Preferences | Explain Plan (or ... | General | Explain Plan). The default name for the plan table is SQLN_EXPLAIN_PLAN. The explain plan table owner is the usually the user you used to run the Server Side object installer. You can leave this blank, but if you do, you will only be able to properly run explain plan when connected under the user that is the owner of the explain plan table. If you wish for other users to be able to use the same explain plan table, please specify the owner under "Explain Plan Table Owner" in View | Preferences.
3. It may also be necessary to verify that the table actually exists under the specified schema in View | Preferences.
