Published Application Connection Starts but Disappears -
Description
When connecting to a hosted/published application, the application initially begins to open and Desktop Authority (DA) runs but after DA completes the dialog box disappears and the application fails to appear. -
Cause
When using Desktop Authority (DA) with a published application DA will run before the application loads.If the default Citrix one minute timeout is exceeded before application loads the session logs off automatically. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:Correct any issues causing Desktop Authority to run longer than expected by reviewing the SLTrace.htm log file.
RESOLUTION 2:
Locate the registry key in VDA: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix\wfshell\TWI (create the key if it is not available.)

Type: REG_DWORD
Data: Required additional time-out, in milliseconds (Example 60seconds=60000milliseconds)
- Set this value using Decimal.
- By default there is a 60000 millisecond (1 minute) timeout when launching an application.
- Specifying a value less than 10000 reverts to 10000 because 10 seconds is the minimum override.
