Search results not returning all expected results
Description

The search results are not displaying all the events that are expected.
Cause

This could be due to many factors, but some of the common ones are that the default searches included in Change Auditor are limited to the last 7 days, and up to 50000 records.

Once a search is run, filtering the results on specific values will only display results returned in the initial search.
Resolution

Adjust the timeframe for the search on the When tab of the search builder, and the 50000 record limit on the Info tab. Alternatively, use a more focused search to return just the events in question, as opposed to trying to filter those events from a more broad search.
