ENHANCEMENT REQUEST - How to run the Backup Analyzer from command line?
The Backup Analyzer can only be run from the LiteSpeed Console GUI | right click on a database and choose Backup Analyzer
From the LiteSpeed Help:
The Backup Analyzer evaluates different settings, such as compression level, striping, and backup destinations, to determine which combination has the best performance for your environment. When LiteSpeed completes the Backup Analyzer tests, it uses a proprietary algorithm that balances the duration of the test, backup file size, and the amount of time the CPU spent processing to determine the test with optimal backup settings.You can view the results in the Backup Analyzer tab.
Suggestedguidelines for the best results:
Minimum: 1 GB database size or 5 minute backup duration
Recommendation: 10 GB database size or 15 minute backup duration
