SharePlex bug with logic not removing data files when horizontal partition replication due to physical and logical read release points not getting reset.
STATUS: Issue fixed in future SharePlex version 8.0 and higher through ST98975
WORKAROUND:
For version 7.6.3 and onward:
On affected system:
1. shutdown SharePlex
2. ./qview -i
3. old datafiles c|x|p
Where:
old datafiles c : removes unused vardir/rim/*+C* capture datafiles
old datafiles x : removes unused vardir/rim/*+X* export datafiles
old datafiles p : removes unused vardir/rim/*+P* post datafiles
4. Check that the unnecesary datafile have been removed from vardir/rim directory
5. start SharePlex
