1. Alarms configuration settings are customized in connection A or Template A.
2. These changes need to be applied to connection B, but connection B has existing custom changes on other alarms that we don’t want to overwritten. Then the “Apply Configuration To” button is clicked which opens list of alarms of connection/template A. The Customized column can be sorted to see what alarms were changed. By default all alarms to be affected are checked.
3. Click on the very top checkbox to uncheck all alarms. Then enable any alarm to be applied to and click Next. Settings of enabled alarms will be overwritten.
4. Select connection B from connection tree list to apply changes to.
5. Wizard gives users another chance to disable or enable the configuration changes that will overwritten. If in case all alarms were left enabled in step 3 above then Spotlight will show what alarms will be overwritten in pink color background, giving users another chance to view and disable/enable alarms.
6. Click Apply button to apply changes.
