When Version Control Root is defaulted to another folder, can no longer revert or remove the VC root folder
Resolution

Customer submitted:

1. Logged off and logged into the sever with the GPOAdmin service account.

2. In Programs and Features, perform a repair of GPOAdmin.

3. Allow installation/repair to finish and reboot to occur.

4. After creating new connection to GPOAdmin domain, you will be prompted to reconfigure the backup and configuration store.

5. Version control root should revert to default location.
