Many of the connections were lost after the Spotlight on Active Directory was installed. New connections created could also not be maintained once the Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise appliation was closed and reopened.
Corrupted profiles from the Spotlight client were also copied to the Diagnostic Server (DS) machine
1. Stop the Spotlight client and the Diagnostic Server;
2. From the DS server, delete all files in the C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Document\applications\Connections\SoSSE folder on the DS-machine;
3. From the client machine, delete all files in the C:\Documents and Settings\[CurrentUser]\Application Data\Quest Software\Shared\Profiles folder;
4. Start the Diagnostic Server and the Spotlight GUI
