Does user info, such as userID, display in Log Reader transactions?
Product design limitation. User information can be shown only for transactions that occur in open session(s).
User information can be shown only for transactions that occur in open session(s). Log Reader displays user information when you read online log for SQL Server that are currently connected.
A transaction log backup or full backup does not contain info about SQL Login, Application, User Host.
