This article applies to QMM 8.5 and below. At the time of this writing there were no plans to implement IPv6 support in QMM

Resolution
It is important to note that question about IP v 6 support is twofold: IPv4 & IPv6 and pure IPv6 implementations. Currently both are NOT supported in the product. If IPv6 compliance is required please talk to your Account Manager.
