By default, Recovery Manager skips duplicates of messages during a restore operation. This article explains how to enable the restoration of all duplicated messages in Recovery Manager.

In the RME console go to Tools | Settings, and click on the Duplicates tab.
From here you can define the duplicate handling for Messages, Mailbox's and Folder's

For version 4.x and eariler To enable the restoration of all duplicated messages, do the following:
1. In Registry Editor, create the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest Software\Recovery Manager for Exchange
2. In this key, add a new DWORD value and name it as follows:
CopyDuplicates
3. Right-click the CopyDuplicates value, and then click Modify.
4. Set the value in the "Value data" box to 1.
NOTE You can disable the restoration of duplicated messages by setting the CopyDuplicates value to 0.
