Is it necessary to restore objects to the same server from where the system state backup was taken?
Resolution

If you use the agentless restore method then you can restore objects to any domain controller and it does not have to be the same domain controller where the backup was taken. If you use the agent method then you need to restore the objects on the same domain controller where the backup was taken.
