Description

After the migration you will notice that there are unusual folder names that have been migrated from your Domino environment to your Exchange environment. You can avoid this by editing the INI file.
Resolution

To filter out unwanted folder names from coming across you will need to edit the INI file You can do so through the following steps:

Edit notesdtapp.ini to include a [Filters] section and filter the folder names:

[Filters]

Filter[0]=(Group Calendars)

Filter[1]= (GroupCalendarFolder)

More informtion about [Filter] parameter: [Filters] Filter[#]= Type: string. Optional. Default: [as noted below] Each line specifies a folder, by name, to be excluded from the migration. Upon installation, the Global Defaults contain these Filter[#] parameters by default: [Filters] filter0=($Alarms) filter1=(Group Calendars) filter2=(Rules) filter3=($Design) filter4=Alarms filter5=(CalSummary) filter6=(~MAPISP(Internal)) filter7=(IPMCOMMONVIEWS) filter8=(IPMVIEWS) filter9=(Search Root) filter10=($MAPIInbox) filter11=($MAPIInfo) filter12=($MAPIIPM Subtree) filter13=($MAPIOutbox) filter14=($MAPISent) filter15=($MAPITrash) filter16=(Discussion Threads) filter17=($ToDo) filter18=($FolderInfo) filter19=($POP3) filter20=(To do's\By Category) filter21=(To do's\By Status) filter22=(Mail Threads)* filter23=($FolderAllInfo) You can add to this list to define more folders to be excluded, but note that the digits appended to the parameter key names need not appear in numerical order, but must in aggregat
