When the Quick Start node is being clicked, a message in red appears in the right pane of the Intrust Manager:
"It is very likely that InTrust's Default InTrust Audit Repository or Default InTrust Audit Database was deleted from InTrust configuration or you do not have permission to see them. Default audit data stores must be available for Quick Start to work. You may need to contact your InTrust organization administrator to get the necessary permissions. If the problem is not with permissions, run InTrust setup again."
Quick Start depends on several predefined objects and audit database is amongst them. Default Intrust Audit Database object might has been deleted manually with purpose to create a new Audit Database object.
Back up Intrust Configuration Database before making changes below!
1. Open Intrust Manager | Configuration | Data Stores | Databases.
2. Right Click on the Intrust Audit Database object and select Copy. Copy of the database gets created. Commit changes.
3. Open SQL Management Studio, expand Databases and open Intrust_CFG_DB database.
4. Expand database object and then highlight and expand Tables. Find and open table dbo.ADCDataSource.
5. Find by name (see column 'Description') the copy of the Audit Database that was created in step 2.
6. Highlight column 'GUID' of the row found in step 5 and replace current value of the GUID with the following (no white spaces ): 4c319355-a95f-4d24-9f90-6c07999bfad7
7. Close SQL Management Studio and reopen Intrust Manager. Click on Quick Start node.
This is not a universal solution, but for deleted default audit database object only. As error message indicates, this issue can also occur due to the fact that some other dependent objects might have been removed.
