Asset Type Containing More Than 64 Fields Causes MySQL Error
Description
Adding more than 64 fields to an asset type will cause the following error:
PHP Error: Uncaught ADODB_Exception in /kbox/kboxwww/include/AssetType.class.php on line 543: mysql error: [1069: Too many keys specified; max 64 keys allowed]
Cause
This is caused by a MySQL limitation.
Resolution
There is no workaround or expected fix, as this is a limitation of the underlying software on the K1000. Asset types are limited to 64 fields.
