NSF files with custom templates or created from templates that we do not recognize.
Change the template
1. Open the NSF in Domino Admin
2.Select File | Application | Properties
3. Go to the Design Tab | Inheritance (looks like a slide ruler and triangle)
4. Confirm Inherit design from master template is checked
5. Verify "Template name" is a valid standard template name for example "StdR8ResourceReservation" or "StdR85Mail"
or
4. Verify "Database file is a master template" is selected
5. Verify "Template name" is a valid standard template name for example "StdR7ResourceReservation" or "StdR85Mail"
The two versions of steps 4 and 5 are as follows
Inherit design from master template, Select in an application is governed by a design template, any changes you make are written over by the master design when all applications are synchronized with the templates
Database file is a master template, Select if the application is used as a template
