Description

Error seen in event log:
Poster: 12035 - OCISessionBegin failed with ORA-28001
This same error ORA-28001 may also be written by Reader or Capture. The cause and resolution are the same
Cause

Oracle error, Shareplex user password expired, so the shareplex process cannot connect to target database.
Resolution

Unlock the account in Oracle without changing the password
Start Shareplex processes that are down

If unlocking the account requires setting a new password then:
Shutdown Shareplex.
From Shareplex bin directory run the utility ora_chpwd and change the Shareplex user password.
Start Shareplex.
