How To Use PST Importer To Import PST's To A Virtual Mailbox (4213307)

At this time there is no method to directly import PST's into Archive Manager using PST Importer. The PST Importer can only import PST's to an account that has a live Exchange mailbox.

1. Share the Export folder on the Archive Manager server. Give access rights to an account used to run PST importer (one who has administrative rights on the Website). You may also use the default/admin as this account will have access by default.
2. Process the PST without any owner, choose the shared UNC path for the Export directory.
3. Select Pseudo root as PST TITLE.
4. Once it is processed there will be a mailbox under the AM website "Mailbox" with the container name of "PST TITLE" and the type will be "PST".
5. You can now select the emails inside this mailbox and move them to virtual mailbox.
