XML files are present in the Error folder on the Archive Manager server. These files were not successfully processed by the Archive Manager Data Load service and remain pending in the error state.
XML files are moved to the Error directory when the Archive Manager Data Load service encounters an issue while processing them. This can occur due to transient errors, configuration issues, or known defects in earlier versions of Archive Manager.
To reprocess the XML files, follow these steps:
Move the XML files from the Error directory back to the Archive Manager Export directory.
Ensure the Archive Manager Data Load service is running.
The service will automatically attempt to reprocess the XML files.
If any XML files are moved back to the Error directory after reprocessing, verify that you are running the latest supported version of Archive Manager.
If you are not on the latest version, upgrade Archive Manager.
After upgrading, move the XML files back to the Export directory again and allow the Data Load service to reprocess them.
When messages are reprocessed, you can review the following logs for additional details:
ESM Worker logs
Data Loader logs
