How to stop Informational Events with ID 7045 in Windows? -
Description
Events with IDs 7045 are observed in Event Viewer logs. This event is triggered for "Quest Remote Command" windows service. -
Cause
This event is triggered by Microsoft's "Service Control Manager" service. -
Resolution
The “Quest Remote Command Service” will be installed when the Exchange Agent starts data collection. It supports to run Exchange Powershell cmdlet. For security reason, this service will be uninstalled when agent stops the data collection.
Event 7045 is an information event logged by Microsoft's “Service Control Manager” to record the activity within a service. This event (7045) is triggered when "Quest Remote Command Service" gets installed and uninstalled during the data collection.
In Microsoft documentation, it does not provide a way to stop the service event logging. This event can be ignored safely.
