When installing the Storage Engine on a remote machine the installer hangs. -
Description
When performing a distributed install of UCCS Analytics that puts Storage Engine component on the machine other than the one where the installer is running, the installer hangs on the “Starting Data Engine” step.

Cause
It happens because Storage Engine service cannot be started on the remote machine leading to the Data Engine service not being able to establish connection with Storage Engine. -
Resolution
Workaround: Run the installer on the machine where Storage Engine is going to be installed, modifying the target for installation of the other components.
