Problem:

How to locate the MAC address when asking license for erwin DM version 9.7 and below?

Solution:

When you request information from the customer it is important to state "please provide the static MAC address". Typically, we recommend the Ethernet MAC address.

Steps:

1. Launch the Command Prompt and in the command line, and run GETMAC -V or ipconfig/all
2. Many times, customers provide us with the incorrect MAC address. In that case we will need to generate an additional license.

Note: We should be encouraging eligible customers to upgrade to the latest release when possible.
