Description
While creating a new Domain Pair, the following error is thrown:
Cannot Connect to the specified domain or domain controller. The supplied credentials are invalid.

Cause
Even though the credentials are correct, and native tools like LDP are successful connecting to the Domain or Domain Controller, the Error is still thrown.
In this particular case it was found that in a specific configuration, the authentication method was keeping the credentials from being accepted by the Domain Controller.
ISSUE CONFIGURATION:
Source Domain Controller = Send NTLM2 response only. refuse LM & NTLM
Quest Migration Console Server = Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated
