Agent Connections Continue to Spawn with 6.4 Agent and 7.0 Server -
Description
When a 6.4 agent is running against a 7.0 server, the agent will continue to spawn random high port connections to the server.
Example (netstat command can be run from agent system to confirm the issue - replace 'venombox' with the hostname of the KACE Systems Management Appliance):

Cause
This is anticipated behavior caused by an incompatibility with the Koneas libraries used in the 6.4 agent and the 7.0 server. -
Resolution
KACE always recommends running agent versions that match the server (e.g. 7.0 agent and 7.0 server). In the case of a 6.4 agent running against a 7.0 server, it is important that the agent be upgraded to 7.0 as quickly as possible to avoid this particular issue. The 6.4 agent is designed to auto-upgrade to the latest version, and there are no known issues with the auto-upgrade process.
