After the QCS upgrade, remote connection to the console via browser fails with the following error:
"Console has an older version than service"
Remote QCS UI module was not upgraded.
When connecting to the QCS console remotely for the first time after an upgrade via http://computer/qcs, when the QCS UI is installed on the remote machine the problem occurs.
The module needs to be reinstalled manually on the remote machine.
From QCS Release Notes:
"You need to manually uninstall the previous version of the Collaboration Services remote web interface before, or after, an upgrade using Add/Remove Programs. Once that is completed, the new version of the web interface package will be downloaded automatically when you first connect to Collaboration Services server remotely."
