What is Toad running in the back ground when prompting to change user password on login? -
Description
When I connect to a database in TOAD and the password has expired, it prompts me to change the password.
When this happens, does TOAD use the alter user identified by ... command or does it use the sql plus password command? -
Resolution
When Toad changes the user password, it is using an OCI command called OCIPasswordChange, rather than a sql statement.
