How to disable the IF\END IF bracket indicator in the SQL Editor?
To disable the IF\END IF Bracket Indicator:
1. Select View | Options from the main menu of Toad.
2. On the left hand side, select Editor | Behavior.
3. On the right hand side, under Languages, select PL/SQL and hit Edit button.
4. Select Rules tab and select the "if start" under rule names.
5. Click on the Disable button.
6. Then click on the "if end" under the rule names as well and click on Disable.
7. Click on Apply and OK.
For Toad for Oracle 9.6:
1. Select View | Toad Options from the main menu of Toad.
2. On the left hand side, select Editor | Behavior.
3. On the right hand side, under Languages, select PL/SQL and hit Syntax highlighting button.
4. Select Rules tab and select the "if start" under rule names.
5. Click on the Disable button.
6. Then click on the "if end" under the rule names as well and click on Disable.
7. Click on Apply and OK.
