Backups fail in COS mode do a drobo type repository with error message 2712 can't create directory.
When adding the repository via vranger gui try adding it with ip address\sharename vs servername\ sharename
Please note this is one possible solution and in the long run vranger needs fqdn and ip resolution to work properly.
