INTERNAL - How to remove SmartDisk from NetVault Backup when the force remove won't work.
Description

A smartdisk instance is no longer available and needs to be dropped from NetVault Backup but the force remove fails.
Resolution

Edit the file netvault/etc/foundationmachines.dat on the NetVault Server, remove the entry for the smartdisk that is no longer required.
