How to share a drive between the NetVault server and an EMC Filer (4047753)

Symptoms:
Need to Share Drives to both the NetVault Server and a EMC Filer.
(This will require the use of Dynamically Shared Drives Licenses)

This procedure assumes that the library has already been added to the NetVault server, and we are going to change one drive to be a shared drive.

a)- Check to make sure the EMC filer can really see the tape Drive. You can check by logging into the EMC Filer and issuing the following command:
server_devconfig -lsn
b)- Open the NetVault GUI
c)- Click on Device Management
d)- Right click on the Tape Library and select Modify
e)- Click on the Drive Selection tab
f)- Remove the Tape Drive you want to share by selecting the Drive bay and Clicking on Remove Drive button on the Right side of the Add Library Window.
g)- then add the drive back by browsing the NetVault server icon, right clicking on the drive and selecting "add shared".
h)- Then you can add the drive again to the same drive bay but using the NDMP Tape device.
i)- save the configuration by clicking on the Save Button on the top.
