Description
When tape gets written to, it has a name/date in front of the barcode.
How do I get rid of the name/date? Or, more specifically, how to get it to not use the date/time - just use barcode?
Step 1. Open the Netvault Configurator, select "Media Manager" Tab
Step 2 . Check the box "Use Barcodes as labels"
Step 3. Apply & OK
Step 4. Stop/Start Netvault Services
(Note, if you do not have Netvault Configurator GUI, you can edit a
file usr/netvault/bin/ ./txtconfig. Use "p" to list the options, and "q" to quit and save changes. If you have access to the Netvault Server GUI from Domain Management station, you can also use 'Client Management". Select the Netvault Server, right click select "configure").
