Description:
Oracle Online APM v4.500 (Linux x86_64) doesn't work on some Linux environments.
Symptoms:
"A Plugin died unexpectedly" error pops-up when trying to browse Oracle Online APM v4.500 (Linux x86_64) APM on some Linux OSes. The Linux OSes environment where we've confirmed this issue to happen is -
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 (x86_64)
Following message may appear on the terminal console on some Linux environment.
nvoraclefs: /lib64/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.4’ not found (required by nvoraclefs)
Cause:
Oracle Online APM v4.500 is requesting newer GLIBC than the one currently installed/available and the requested GLIBC isn't available for NetVault to access.
This issue has been fixed in Oracle Online APM v4.600, and it supports GLIBC 2.3.2 and onwards.
