Description:
Email notifications fail, however the nvsendmail script from the netvault\util directory can be run successfully at the command line.
Symptoms:
Email notifications fail with the following errors in the netvault log:
C:/BakBone Software/NetVault\util\nvsendmail failed in script sysmail
Notification script "C:/BakBone Software/NetVault/scripts/global\sysmail.bat" failed: 'Script "C:/BakBone Software/NetVault/scripts/global\sysmail.bat" failed - exit code 1'
The problem can be corrected by insuring all information is correct in the Notification tabs in the NV configurator on all machines. Both the mail server and notification tabs must be filled in. A typo in the e-mail address field will cause this failure. If specifying multiple destination e-mail addresses in the "EMail address of the System Administrator" field, make sure to seperate them using only a comma (no spaces or semicolons).
