Description:
NetVault license key will not install on Snap Server.
Symptoms:
When an attempt to install a license key for NetVault is made, an error is returned - "Operation Failed, please enter the correct new license key."
Use the command line utility 'snaplicenseinstall' to install the key. 'snaplicenseinstall' can be found in '~/NetVault/bin' (NetVault is usually installed in '/hd/vol_mnt0/BakBone/NetVault').
If the 'snaplicenseinstall' utility can not be found contact BakBone Customer Support.
Note: 'root' level privileges are required to run the 'snaplicenseinstall' utility. After logging into the Snap Server via SSH, the 'su' command should be run to gain 'root' level privileges.
