Description:
Getting license exceed error when adding additional tape drive to library
Even though the number of drives licensed for has not been exceeded, the capacity for the VTL has. Because of this license infringement, no further additions of devices will be allowed by NetVault. You will be unable to add any devices within device manager if you are exceeding a device license even if this device is not the license you are exceeding.
Resolution:
Remove the device exceeding the license, reduce the capacity used for VTL or contact the licensing department to upgrade the license being exceeded.
