Unable to perform LAN Free type backups on VMs that reside on NFS datastores\ luns.
Currently vRanger only supports LAN Free type backups for VMs that reside either on iSCSI or Fiber connected datastores\ luns. Please note that backups are supported for Network based backups\ COS mode type if VMs reside on NFS datastores\ luns and have been supported for some time now with vRanger 4 and 5.x versions.
Currently there are no plans in the near future for LAN Free backup support for VMs that reside on NFS datastores\ luns but please visit the ideas\ feature request portal at the following link below whereby you can vote on this feature if you would like to see it possibly supported in a future release of vRanger Backup and Replication.
