Description:
Customer has several duplicates running from vtl to physical many wind up hanging waiting for media.
Symptoms:
Appropriate media is available. The device manager shows the physical drives as writing even though they are doing nothing vtl drives show idle.
Diagnosing the hung jobs give the message "the drive is locked by another task" except one which returns "no media request for job". Aborting this job will cause one of the other job to change from "the drive is locked by another task" to "no media request".
Increasing the job manager keep alive setting in the configurator to 5 resolved the problem.
