Description
It is not possible to restore a Virtual Machine, the error: "API Call failed with message: The operation is not supported on the object." is displayed.
Cause
Resolution
Create a blank VM with no disks and restore over the top (Make sure that the restore job option to overwrite existing VM is selected). The restore will configure the VM with the original CPU and memory settings.
