Symptoms: Errors in the netvault log that read "event license exceeded - exceeded license for smart client" -
Resolution
This error occurs when a tape library or a virtual tape library are added to a client (Not your NetVault server) and you do not have a smart client license. The fix is to either purchase a Smart Client license from BakBone or to connect your tape library to your NetVault server and add it that way to NetVault.
