NetVault GUI / NetVault Configurator fail to launch on SLES 9.4 -
Description
When attempting to launch the NetVault GUI (nvgui) or NetVault Configurator (nvconfigurator) on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.4, they will fail to open or segfault. In order to launch either of these applications, please run the following commands as the root user:
xset +fp /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi
xset +fp /opt/kde3/share/fonts
xset +fp /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc
xset +fp /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/uni
xset fp rehash
You should now be able to successfully launch both the nvgui and the nvconfigurator. -
