trying to upgrade to 5.2 and is unable to do so. the update process is stopping -
Description
When trying to upgrade to version 5.2 from version 5.0 and previously had version 4.5x installed, the upgrade process hangs when trying to stop the VRANGER PRO service. This service does not exist under the new 5.0 install and needs to be manually edited in the registry.

Cause
Upgrading to 5.2 from 5.0 on a machine that also had version 4.5x installed.

Resolution
Back up any and all databases related to any version of vRanger.
Edit the following registry keys and remove any references to the 4.5x installation.
LOCAL MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CURRENT CONTROL SET \ SERVICES
LOCAL MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ MICROSOFRT \ WINDOWS \ CURRENT VERSION \ UNINSTALL
The UNINSTALL key may have numerous folders that need to be navigated to look for any reference to the 4.5x install
Once these keys have been deleted, the installation directory for the 4.5x version can be safely removed.
SQL may need to be completely removed using Control Panel's ADD\REMOVE programs.
