Description:
nvgui and nvconfigurator will not open, even when run from inside an xterm window.
Symptoms:
When trying to open the Nvgui or nvconfigurator the following errors are generated:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
NVGUI: Can't connect to X11! Please ensure that the X11 package is installed
On the NetVault server, make sure that the /etc/ssh_config and /etc/sshd_config files have the following setting:
ForwardX11 yes
After making these changes, restart the ssh service, or reboot, for the changes to take effect.
