One such error may be “Failure to retrieve info from Host” which might indicate a lag in getting API response back from Virtual Center or ESX host.
These may be mitigated by increasing the Time out values for API queries in vRanger Pro DPP.
To accomplish this adjust the follow lines in the Vizioncore.vRanger.Service.exe.config file
<add key="TaskQueueWaitTime" value="3000" /> Change to 30000
<add key="VirtApiQueryRequestTimeout" value="60000" /> Change to 120000
<add key="VirtSessionEstablishmentWaitTime" value="100" /> Change to 1000
<add key="VirtLoginWaitTime" value="250" /> Change to 500
Tools, Options, Configuration, Timeout - Change to 24 (This will correct any job running aborting at 8 hours)
Restart the vRanger services and retry the jobs.
