Backup job failed - "Backup lost message channel unexpectedly" (4046783)

A backup job died unexpectedly and generated the following messages in NetVault logs: "Backup job failed - Backup lost message channel unexpectedly."

The network connection between the Job Manager process on the NetVault Server and the plugin process on the NetVault Client went down.

Investigate all possible causes of network connection interruption.

Reconfigure NetVault Network Manager on the server:

1. From the left navigation pane, select Change Settings.
2. Click the Network Manager icon.
3. Increase the Keep Alive rate.
4. Increase the Time (in seconds) to wait before dropping inactive connection(s) value.
5. Press the [Apply] button.
6. Press the [Restart Services] button to enact the changes. Please notice that all running jobs will be terminated.
