When attempting to add Exchage backups created with vRanger to Recovery Manager for Exchange you may encounter the error: "No Exchange Server databases found in the savepoint you selected. Select a savepoint that holds Exchange Server databases."
This generally occurs when one of the following is true:
- Guest Quiescing was not enabled in the vRanger backup job when the Exchange backup was taken
- The Freeze.bat file does not exist or is not in the correct location
- The Backup.xml file is not being generated
Confirm the backup job in vRanger has been configured with guest quiescing enabled:
