Description:
VaultDR offline backups complete successfully, however the restore fails.
Symptoms:
The restore fails towards the end with errors similar to the following:
Error: Data operation halted due to unrecoverable internal NDMP server error
Error: Failed to restore partition: [partition name, details]
This issue does not occur in NetVault: Backup 7.4.x, and has been fixed in 8.0 update 3. Upgrade the client and server to at least 8.0 update 3.
There is a patch available for version 8.0 update 2, if an upgrade is not possible. No patch is available for 8.0 update 1. Contact support for details regarding this patch.
