Description:
When configuring a NetVault Database (NVDB) backup the option "Check database tables before backup" is enabled by default. During the "Check job reference" phase of the nvscheddbcheck, warning messages "Job xx uses plugin XXXX, that is not installed" are displayed for jobs using an APM that is not currently installed on the Backup Server.
Symptoms:
If a job uses a plugin that is installed on a client, when the NVDB backup is run and the same plugin is not installed on the backup server, a "Job ## uses plugin XXX, that is not installed" warning message will appear in the log. The NVDB job will complete with warning.
This has been resolved in NetVault 8.2. If you are still getting these errors with those versions, please refer to solution "Schedule database check produces Job xx uses plugin XXXX that is not installed".
